[INTERVIEW] Yang Se Jong, A depth that is not new.

One word that comes up in the interview with Yang Se Jong is "seriousness". I feel the weight as an actor regardless of age. Q : What do you feel as a preliminary superstar?
Yang Se Jong : "I never thought about it. I don't  know because I usually don't go outside. When I do work, I go to the movie theater and my room. I have a home with my parents, but I get a studio when I work. Get a good space to practice and make settings. It was just four days after the shoot, but it was a little strange. I was standing on the crosswalk and listening to music and waiting for the traffic light. "Please take a picture", She spoke to me. I realized that at that time."

Q : Why create a room?
Yang Se Jong : "It is easy to do, but I can't practice. When I work, I tend to put my cellphone to silence. So, after 3 months, I feel sorry for the people around me. Nowadays, 'You are like that' and no one has contacted (laughs)."

Q : Are you still out of the "On Jeong Seon" character?
Yang Se Jong : "I keep pouring out. I really like being alone, but when I'm alone, I feel like I'm in a good mood, so I talk to people on purpose and listen to music."

Q : If you have a stress reliever ?
Yang Se Jong : "It is a healing way to dress in the most comfortable clothes at dawn and to walk while listening to music without destination. I can't live without it. At the time of filming, I walk for 10 minutes and 15 minutes when finished at dawn."

Q : What is <Temperature of Love> to you ? What if there is a memorable line ?
Yang Se Jong : "It is the work which informed expression and communication. The writer-nim wrote a lot about the way of expression and communication. The memorable line is good at saying 'priority'. Yang Se Jong is an unstable and impulsive person who feels controlled by the word. I will always remember the word 'priority' in life."

Q : Did you learn to cook separately? What if you have a good dish?
Yang Se Jong : "Because I was a chef, I went to learn it myself. I learned to meringue, steak, and cut. I was able to do medium rare steak and rice dumplings (Tteogbokkgi). The original good food is tuna kimchi stew. Fire control it is life."

Q : Does Kimchi stew need fire control?
Yang Se Jong : "It is important. Add kimchi, boil for 10 minutes with high heat, change to medium heat, and then add tofu semolina for two people. Then add tuna and boil it for about 8 minutes for medium fire and 5 minutes for weak fire."



Q : If it's a real romance style, is it Joe Bo A or Seo Hyun Jin?
Yang Se Jong : "It is Seo Hyun Jin. If such a person is in reality. There are rarely enough characters to appreciate what you should not be thankful for and to overcome your problems."

Q : Do you believe in a fateful encounter?
Yang Se Jong : ""Even though I like my first feeling, I do not believe it. After a long conversation, I will be dating."

Q : What is your dating style?
Yang Se Jong : "Apart from love, I try to be honest when I meet people in everyday life. I do not avoid a lot of conversation. For example, when a problem arises with a loved one, he or she digs hard. It may or may not be good, but I want to keep talking."

Yang Se Jong : "I lived in a comic book store in junior high school. The little boy kept coming, so the owner of the rental shop was allowed by his parents and came here to work. So I took comics, movies, and novels. I suddenly thought of them when I saw them. I thought "I don't know when to die" ."

Q : The idea of ​​the next work ?
Yang Se Jong : "I want to do without limit. I am always grateful for the choice because the job is the job I have to choose. I do not know until when I'm going to postpone, but I will not limit it to that day.

Q: It's a two-year debut. What's the biggest difference between a normal student and his debut in the entertainment industry?
Yang Se Jong: I learned how to split the time. I do not have enough personal time to do drama filming. If only one or two hours a day is given to me, it is so precious that I can not use it.

Q : now are you working on something?
Yang Se Jong: Yes. 2 semesters left. I'm curious about my previous career as a director <Saimdang Light's Diary>. Its all about the filmakers and one short films at school

Q: What was the most important thing when You was in school?
Yang Se Jong: I have a class called Scene Presentation, and I was totally immersed in it. I'll take 15 minutes to excerpt from a play with a partner. I spent almost every night at school for that 15 minutes. It was so fun to practice by the morning and enter the class.

Q: Why was it so fun?
Yang Se Jong: I felt free. I can express as much as I want. And I was thrilled that there are many people who think similar to me. I practiced all night and went up to the rooftops at the dawn with a tent, drink wine, drink, and go back to class. Everyone is passionate.

Q: I think he is so excited about the joy of immersion. I've heard that an article says that I do not know how to feel meat when I ask what it feels like during the drama.
Yang Se Jong: That's right (laughs). The most important thing for me is always in front of you. That day, meat is burning in front of you, and everyone is having a conversation. So I bent the meat so hard that I focused on it.

Q: I do not think You get much stress.
Yang Se Jong: I get a lot when I'm alone. When I went home after shooting.

Q: Do You return to work one day?
Yang Se Jong: I will not tell you exactly. I have time to walk alone at dawn. I'll put my buds together. After 20 or 30 minutes walking, I go to the house or go to the cafe and only read the script after I handle my thoughts and feelings.

Q: When does you sleep go to sleep?
Yang Se Jong: The fortress sleeps about 2 hours and 30 minutes and goes to the shooting area. After the shoot, I have only half an hour to write to me. Half of this time is true to the script. If i do not have the time, i can walk for 10 minutes.

Q: The principle is clear ?
Yang Se Jong: It was a habit I started when I started doing this. "If you do not have such a time, I will not be able to do it. I felt that my body and mind would be tired quickly."

Q: Acting classes and the scene are different. What did you feel while experiencing the scene?
Yang Se Jong: This is not what I learned on my own, but when I heard your advice and actually experienced it, I found out. I always have to imagine that Yang Se Jong is deeper and wider than they think. Otherwise I'm afraid I'll stay somewhere. More important than this, I'm really thinking about every scene. I learned a lot from Jung Jae Young Sunbae-nim. At this moment, what is the true nature of the character, how to convey the sincerity.

Q: How do you use it for that?
Yang Se Jong: I'm going to change my day. <Duel> I've only heard dark music all the time. Resistant and intense hip-hop. The lights in my house were always kept dark. I think it's been torn down.

Q: How about now?
Yang Se Jong: <Temperature of Love> It's the opposite of On Jung-Sun who plays in. Always look for people who are clear, confident and good. So, fortunately, my house is bright and clean. Jung-Sun hears a lot of exciting music. I feel like I'm being cleansed.




Q: What kind of person is On Jung-Sun?
Yang Se Jong: It's bright, but deep inside is a pain. I do not think I can tell you in detail because the drama has not been broadcast (laugh). Anyway, that's a big part of me. I have a similar point of experience with the person of Yang Se-Jong. I read the script and said, "What is it? Writer-nim you're great, i wanted to. " Such Jung-Sun changes when I meet Lee Hyun-Soo (Seo Hyun-Jin).

Q: How about Hyun-Soo?

Q: How about working with Seo Hyun-Jin?
Yang Se Jong: <Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-Bu> It's different from the time. The character's relationship has changed. Seo Hyun-Jin Sunbae-nim has eyes that seem to beautiful. So when I shoot, I'm very focused. I'm so happy. There is a environment in the works, but I think there are just some people. I think I meet a lot of good seniors.

Q: You like Bradley Cooper ?
Yang Se Jong: It is the fan! I like the actor's energy very much. Does not the person itself look sexy? How can a person have such a pupil? And not just the dark sexy, but more and more sexy. It's amazing to see that each piece of work has its own distinctive color and appears in different characters.

Q: If you recommend a movie to someone who is not familiar with Bradley Cooper's charm ?
Yang Se Jong: Just one is too difficult, so I'll pick two. <Silver Linings Playbook> and <American Sniper>. You'll be able to enjoy the opposite charm.

Q: Have you seen a lot of movies since childhood?
Yang Se Jong: I went to the book store everyday since Junior High School and I only saw comics. The boss asked me to do things like that everyday and get permission. That started until the first year of high school. I've been driving comics and movies out there for over two years. I could not even think of an actor's way, at that young age, I picked out a variety of works to suit my taste.

Q: It's a special experience then?
Yang Se Jong: It was really fun. Then, when I was 2, I went to a group performance at school. It was my first performance in my life. At that time I was in Taekwondo for about 5 years and I was going to go to the department of social sports, I folded the exercise that day. What was that big piece of work <Snow Drop> it was a work called, I was singing, dancing, comic and impressed. I'm laughing and I'm tears at some moment. I looked around and found that they were all tough. I wanted it all. I was surprised that we felt a similar feeling when we saw actors act.

Q : What did you start with to become an actor?
Yang Se Jong: Acting school was too expensive part-time job. I spent about 100,000 won when I needed it. Because I had a dance in my first play, I enrolled in the neighborhood dance school. I have a teacher aisle. At that time, he was the one who saw all the genre dances. After the lesson, I practiced alone, so I put it on, so I practiced for six months. I think I got what I needed then. Dancing really worked hard (laugh). The teacher said this. "No matter what you do in the arts, It's going to be okay if you get all set." A good teacher, "Your space and your passion for practicing with your complete absence". I still think about it.

Q: I heard that you do not have a long, big plan. What is your current goal?
Yang Se Jong: Let's do what I got right now. Are you happy these days? The standards of happiness are different. I feel happy in the given things. I think I woke it up early. It's a happy thing to be able to live as long as you can.

Pada Interview hari ini (01 September 2017) Yang Se Jong berbagi pemikiran jujurnya seputar mengambil project drama terbarunya sebagai pemeran utama pria.

"Temperature of Love' yang akan tayang pada tanggal 18 September 2017 slot Senin-Selasa, Yang Se Jong akan berperan sebagai On Jung Sun seorang Koki, ia menceritakan bagaimana perasaannya pertama kali menjadi pemeran utama pria, selama satu tahun karirnya berakting sejak ia debut sebagai aktor.

"Saya akan berbohong bila saya mengatakan tidak merasakan tekanan apapun. Biasanya saya merasakan tekanan dalam kurun waktu yang sebentar kemudian berlalu. Saya adalah tipe orang yang cenderung fokus pada hal-hal penting yang diberikan kepada saya saat ini." Ungkapnya.

Yang Se Jong menambahkan, "Saya diberi peran sebagai Koki, dan saya pikir saya memiliki bakat dalam hal memasak, saya berlajar memasak steak pada hari pertama, dan saya melakukannya dengan sangat baik".

Drama "Temperature of Love" juga akan dibintangi aktris Seo Hyun Jin yang akan tayang di SBS 18 September, jam 10 malam waktu Korea Selatan.

How did you end up?
<Duel> Monitoring continued. Something is missing. I did not see anyone who looked like a family every day for 3 to 4 months, and the dialogue that I had everyday was cut off at once. Seong Hoon and Seung Joon being a part of everyday life, I have been focusing on the task of getting out of the actor. Unfortunately, I can concentrate on my next work. I am reading and reading the script to become the right choice of <Temperature of Love> to enter soon. I am concentrating on how I can shape On Jung-Sun well.

Majored in acting at Korea National University of Arts (Hanjeong). How was your time at school?
It was very straightforward. I lived more frankly and impulsively than I am now.  i appreciate people who hate me, and if there is someone who like me i will like them more.
Even though I did not have a bus ride, I gathered with friends all day at dawn in a roof tent drinking a rice wine, hitting it all night and I went to class again in the morning and concentrated on studying hard. I had to do 15 minutes of "scene presentation" every day,  but I was really happy with the motivation and the time to prepare it for all night.



How did you start acting?
There was no interest at all. When I was in the second grade of junior high school, I went to the bookstore to saw comics and when the boss came everyday, I asked him to work part-time and I worked part-time. Then I read all the movies, comic books, and novels there. After I quit, my habits remained and I watched movies every day, so I got almost 500 movies stored on my computer. It's different every time I look. I spent a long time in Taekwondo, but my complete hobby was watching movies every night. Then one day I went to see the theatre at school. The reason I prepared Taekwondo Demonstration Team was because I was thrilled to be cheering in front of people. The people who play the drama express their dialogue with their voices, actions, eyes, and so on. Sejong, this is it. I went home that day and said I would quit Taekwondo straight away. And I prepared for one kind of entrance examination.

What was the movie you saw and watched then?
Dallas Bias Club,Upper Flash,Silver Lining Playbook, I have repeatedly seen these three.

What are the criteria when choosing movies? My favorite actor follows. I almost saw a movie with Bradley Cooper. Matthew McCannhey, I also liked it so I saw it almost.

How did you become interested in wine?
Originally, it was a soju, but thanks to the president, I woke up with wine and started to find myself while participating in a tasting session. The decisive moment when I fell into the wine was when I went on a trip to Busan with my friends. I want to drink wine, but it was late and there was no place to open it. I found information on the Internet that there is a small wine in a convenient store
I went there and said, "What is this? What is that? "The boss opened up a fray like what I asked. I ordered a wine that was not priced and I took it for a cheap price. It was a good wine that was worth calling, but I bought it and drank it while watching the sea. It was the first time that an image of a wine came into my mouth.

Usually, when i need to organize my thoughts, i walk. When I think of the role, I play it. What kind of pace would the character walk on? What kind of music does he listen to? Before entering the work, it is essential to do this.

What do you think the whole Jeong Seon of Love Temperature is like?
Jeong Seon changed a lot depending on the relationship. The time to deal with my parents and the time to deal with Hyun-soo (Seo Hyun-jin) are different. When I think of my parents, I pick up a little bit of music, and when I meet Hyun - su, I pick up music. I listen to this while coming and going. When I did <Dual>, I only heard dark music like it was at the bottom.

What music do u usually listened to ?
Maria Mena's Leaving You, Standing Egg's Miss You. I listened to these two songs repeatedly.

What kind of person is On Jung-Sun?
It is hard to express in words. Some people speak well about characters and I can not speak because I do not think people have the right answer. You or me are not perfect, you have it all. Only certain tendencies are strong. So,Jung-Sun is constantly looking for a sense of fit. In fact, Sejong has been down a little. It is dark and depressed. I listen to good music, eat good food and spend a lot of refreshing incense to break it. Originally, I like black clothes, but when I treat brightly dressed people with me, I behave positively and brightly and optimally.

Originally a darker person would try to brighten up, but it would cost a lot of energy?
So I do more exercise. I am a leader of a running club, but I am more leaner than before and have a lots of weight. So, I am changing my life. What if I On Jung-Sun? If I On Jung-Sun , what clothes will I wear, what incense will I wear and how will I look at people? How can I walk if i On Jung-Sun? What about my posture? I think this kind of thing happens naturally on the back of my body. And if you know only the relationship between person and person, I think that you can naturally match the two.

In some ways, preparation time is a much more important type. I feel that work and everyday life can not be separated at all?
Not at all. It tires a lots. "Yang Sejong, where di i go?" There is a time like this. Sejong is getting less and less time. There are those who distinguish between daily life and acting precisely among seniors.

Can you be able to do it Sejong-ssi?

[INFO] 170719 Yang Se Jong Diincar Jadi Pemeran Utama 'Temperature of Love' Bersama Seo Hyun Jin dan Kim Jae Wook

Drama OCN, "Duel" yang dibintangi Yang Se Jong memang baru akan tamat Minggu (23/7) nanti. Namun kabar casting menyebutkan aktor pendatang baru kelahiran 1992 tersebut diincar menjadi pemeran utama di drama SBS berjudul "Temperature of Love". Drama ini sedang menunggu konfirmasi dari Seo Hyun Jin dan Kim Jae Wook.

"Temperature of Love" dibesut oleh Ha Myung Hee, penulis naskah "High Society" dan "Doctors". Drama ini merupakan adaptasi novel berjudul "Nice Soup Does Not Answer the Phone". Bergenre komedi romantis, kisahnya tentang persahabatan antara penulis naskah dengan seorang chef yang terjalin melalui percakapan online.

Good People, agensi Yang Se Jong membenarkan berita casting aktornya tersebut. Namun Yang Se Jong belum memutuskan akan menerima tawaran atau tidak. Jika setuju, ia akan memerankan karakter utama bernama Jung Sun, chef sekaligus pemilik restoran Michelin bernama Good Soup. Selain itu, ia akan reuni dengan Seo Hyun Jin yang sebelumnya sama-sama membintangi "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim".


Karakter Jung Sun digambarkan sebagai pria yang berusaha mencari orang-orang baik. Namun ia cukup mengetahui ada batasan yang tak boleh dilewati. Ia benci dikontrol serta tak mau mengatur orang lain. Sifatnya kompetitif yang mencintai kemenangan dan hobi berolahraga. Meski terlihat sempurna di luar, ia memiliki kelemahan yaitu ibu yang meninggalkannya dalam ketakutan.

Seo Hyun Jin ditawari berperan sebagai Hyun Soo, penulis naskah drama yang menggabarkan dirinya sendiri sebagai sosok yang blak-blakan dan ceroboh. Ia cukup realistis dan susah untuk berbohong. Namun ia selalu cepat membuat penilaian dan melemparkan dirinya ke dalam beberapa hal. Ia cerdas tapi agak aneh. Julukannya adalah "Curiosity Heaven".

Sedangkan Kim Jae Wook kemungkinan akan memerankan CEO agensi hiburan yang menyukai masakan Yang Se Jong. Mereka kemudian menjadi rekan dengan membuka Good Soup. Namun masalahnya, ia jatuh cinta pada Seo Hyun Jin. Mereka yang awalnya rekan bisnis malah berakhir menjadi rival cinta.

Sementara itu, "Temperature of Love" merupakan drama tentang orang-orang yang pernah terluka bertemu satu sama lain dan menemukan apa arti cinta untuk diri sendiri maupun orang lain. Empat tokoh utama akan bertemu dengan sudut pandangan pada dunia yang berbeda. Mereka mencoba meyakinkan satu sama lain bahwa cara hidup mereka adalah yang terbaik serta tumbuh dengan cara tersebut. Drama ini disiapkan SBS tayang usai "Falsify" di slot Senin-Selasa malam.

[SINGLES Magazine Interview] 170712 Yang Se Jong, 'Aku ingin diingat dengan nama karakterku..'

Setelah drama "Duel" tayang, banyak orang bertanya-tanya siapa aktor hebat yang memainkan dua klona, Lee Sung Hoon dan Lee Sung Joon. Ini hanyalah awal dari langkah Yang Se Jong sebagai aktor.

- Daripada namaku, aku lebih suka jika kalian mengenalku sebagai Sung Joon dan Sung Hoon.
- Aku ingin menghabiskan waktu sendirian hanya seminggu saja di bulan Juli ini.
- Jika kalian baru mengenalku, kuharap itu karena kalian menonton "Duel".
- Aku ingin berakting dengan Bradley Cooper.
- Sepuluh tahun lagi, aku ingin namaku dikenal sebagai aktor yang hebat dalam melakukan apapun.



Salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki seorang aktor untuk bisa diakui adalah kemampuan membuat penonton tenggelam dalam drama yang mereka bintangi. Untuk bisa menciptakan karakter yang oke, tim produksi pastinya harus pintar-pintar memilih aktor dengan suara, nada, tatapan mata serta akting yang mumpuni. Dipilihnya Yang Se Jong selalu berakhir luar biasa sejak "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim", "Saimdang: Light's Diary" hingga "Duel" saat ini.

Yang Se Jong paham bahwa kesempatan hanya datang sekali dan tak akan pernah kembali. Jadi ia selalu mempersiapkan dengan matang-matang sebelum mulai memerankan karakter yang dipercayakan padanya. "Kalian harus memahami tujuan dari setiap tindakan yang dilakukan untuk bisa mendalami secara total. Jadi aku membayangkan situasi yang seharusnya dirasakan karakter dan mencari cara untuk merasakan pengalaman serupa," tuturnya.

Sebelum memerankan Han Sang Hyun yang merupakan mahasiswa jurusan sejarah di "Saimdang: Light's Diary", Yang Se Jong mengunjungi Museum Nasional Korea. Ia juga membaca banyak buku referensi agar nantinya bisa menyampaikan dialog dengan benar. Untuk "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim", Yang Se Jong mempelajari adegan-adegan penting dan suasana rumah sakit serta mengunjungi ruang UGD saat tak ada jadwal syuting. Saat ini ia membintangi "Duel" bersama Jung Jae Young dan Kim Jung Eun. Belum sampai setahun debut, namun ia sudah membintangi drama ketiga, kali ini sebagai pemeran utama. Jika kalian adalah pendatang baru, pasti sangat bahagia saat mengetahui kalian lolos audisi. Namun Yang Se Jong justru tak langsung berbangga diri.

"Lee Sung Joon dan Lee Sung Hoon, saat mendengar aku lolos untuk peran tersebut, aku merasa tidak akan bisa melakukannya. Aku orangnya serakah, tapi aku tetap bertanya-tanya, 'Apakah aku bisa melakukannya dengan baik?'. Aku takut itu akan menjadi bencana untuk pekerjaanku," ujarnya. Saat memutuskan menjadi aktor, ia mengaku sering dilanda keraguan.

"Aku belajar Taekwondo untuk waktu yang lama dan aku berlatih beratus-ratus kali serta berulang-ulang. Kurasa akting juga sama. Hingga akhirnya aku membintangi 'Saimdang: Light's Diary'. Namun ternyata tidak ada jawaban kalau soal akting. Suatu hari, sekeras apapun aku melakukan persiapan, aku tetap tidak mendapat jawaban. Akhirnya aku lebih memikirkan bagaimana caranya bisa mengimbangi pemain lain di lokasi syuting."



Bersamaan dengan pengalamannya yang semakin banyak, kesulitan dan tanggung jawab yang dihadapinya juga semakin besar. Namun ia tak begitu saja menghindarinya. Mengingat itu adalah kesempatannya untuk mencari jawaban sendiri. Bisa dilihat dari "Duel", Yang Se Jong sukses memerankan dua karakter sulit dengan sempurna.

Meski sukses memerankan karakter dengan hebat, Yang Se Jong bukan tipe orang yang suka mengumbar kehidupan pribadinya. Seperti diketahui, cukup sulit mencari info personal soal dirinya. Jika kalian mengetik nama "Yang Se Jong" di situs pencarian, yang muncul adalah sebatas informasi umum. Ia juga tak memiliki akun SNS (media sosial) pribadi.



"Aku ingin orang-orang mengingatku dengan nama karakter (yang pernah kuperankan) ketimbang namaku sendiri. Aktor Yang Se Jong dan 'manusia' Yang Se Jong sangat berbeda. Saat aku memulai syuting, aku memisahkan pekerjaan dengan kehidupan pribadi. Itu akan terjadi dengan sendirinya. Saat syuting selesai, aku kembali ke sosok 26 tahun yang suka minum wine dan menonton film. Aku harus menikmati hidupku karena tidak tahu kapan akan mati. Jika tidak ada jadwal, aku biasanya naik transportasi umum dan tidak ada yang mengenaliku."

Namun julukan "aktor" masih menjadi beban bagi Yang Se Jong. Ia mengaku ingin disebut sebagai orang yang mampu memerankan karakter apapun yang diberikan padanya ketimbang aktor yang hebat. Ia membuktikan dirinya sebagai aktor pendatang baru yang merasa masih harus belajar lebih jauh lagi.
