"Duel" akhirnya tayang perdana pada Sabtu (3/6) di OCN. Drama baru Yang Se Jong ini cukup diantisipasi karena mengangkat tema kloning manusia yang sangat jarang sekali di Korea. Yang Se Jong memerankan dua karakter yaitu Lee Sung Joon dan Lee Sung Hoon. Bagi yang belum menonton, yuk intip dulu sneak peek episode 1 dan 2!

Episode 1

Episode perdana "Duel" dibuka adegan Jang Deuk Cheon (Jung Jae Young), detektif kepala satuan khusus kriminal yang panik menyiapkan uang tebusan untuk putrinya, Jang Soo Yeon (Lee Na Yoon). Ia memasukkan uang sejumlah satu miliar Won ke dalam tas golf yang ternyata sudah dipasang alat pelacak oleh Choi Jo Hye (Kim Jung Eun). Jang Deuk Cheon pun menuju ke hotel, tempat yang sudah diinstruksikan si penculik.



Setibanya di hotel, Jang Deuk Cheon diminta meninggalkan tas golf berisi uang tebusan di mobilnya. Namun ternyata ia tak menemukan Soo Yeon dalam kamar hotel. Tas golf yang ditinggalkannya dalam mobil justru bergerak menuju ke stasiun kereta bawah tanah Seoul. Sementara Jang Deuk Cheon diminta pergi ke terminal bus dan diberitahu bahwa uang tebusan ternyata palsu.

Jang Deuk Cheon yang kelewat panik terus bertanya pada semua orang apakah melihat anak perempuan dengan ciri-ciri Soo Yeon. Hingga akhirnya ia bertemu Sung Joon duduk dalam bus. Tanpa pikir panjang, ia langsung menghajar pria yang diyakininya sebagai penculik Soo Yeon tersebut. Namun saat akan menembak Sung Joon, ia dikejutkan oleh kemunculan pria berwajah sama dengan Sung Joon sedang tersenyum sinis ke arah mereka. Adegan kemudian berganti ke 10 hari sebelumnya.



Kita bisa melihat Jang Deuk Cheon hidup berdua saja dengan Soo Yeon yang mengidap Leukimia. Hubungan ayah dan anak ini sangat dekat. Soo Yeon yang ditinggal mati sang ibu sejak berada di kandungan bertingkah sebagai anak sekaligus istrinya. Soo Yeon bahkan melarangnya merokok, minum dan mengumpat.


Penyebab hubungan Jang Deuk Cheon dan Choi Jo Hye yang tak akur juga dijelaskan secara tersirat. Jaksa yang dianggapnya menyebalkan tersebut secara langsung menjadi penyebab kematian istrinya. Hubungan mereka semakin memanas saat Choi Jo Hye memintanya menutup kasus penculikan anak yang berakhir pada kematian pelaku dan korban. Usut punya usut, ayah korban yang menjadi alasan penculikan memberi suap agar kasus ditutup.

Saat membuat keterangan soal kasus tersebut, Jang Deuk Cheon dihubungi oleh ahjumma pemilik rumah sewa bahwa Soo Yeon pingsan dan dibawa ke rumah sakit. Ia pun menerima syarat biaya super mahal pengobatan leukimia Soo Yeon berupa injeksi sel induk. Di tempat lain, Sung Hoon menyaksikan berita soal injeksi sel Soo Yeon sambil menyuntikkan cairan ke tangan kirinya.



Kembali ke rumah sakit, Jang Deuk Cheon mendampingi Soo Yeon yang dibawa dengan ambulans. Sayangnya di tengah perjalanan, ambulans mendadak berhenti. Sung Hoon yang menyamar menjadi petugas rumah sakit membuka pintu belakang ambulans dan berusaha melumpuhkan Jang Deuk Cheon dengan suntik bius. Mereka sempat terlibat perkelahian di dalam ambulans. Meski tangan kanannya terluka, ia berhasil mengambil Soo Yeon. Jang Deuk Cheon yang setengah sadar mencoba membuka masker Sung Hoon dan melihat wajahnya sekilas.



Alur kembali ke momen menegangkan Jang Deuk Cheon, Sung Joon dan Sung Hoon di terminal. Jang Deuk Cheon bertanya apakah mereka kembar dan sengaja merencanakan penculikan Soo Yeon bersama. Setelah memborgol Sung Joon, ia pun berlari mengejar Sung Hoon yang ternyata sudah bersiap-siap kabur. Sedangkan Sung Joon hanya bisa berteriak histeris lantaran merasa tak tahu apa-apa. Jang Deuk Cheon dan Sung Hoon terlibat kejar-kejaran seru. Episode diakhiri aksi keren Jang Deuk Cheon yang nekat menerobos kaca untuk bisa mengejar Sung Hoon.



Episode 2

Episode kedua "Duel" dibuka oleh ditemukannya mayat anak perempuan yang sudah membusuk. Jang Deuk Cheon muncul dengan wajah panik mencoba memastikan bahwa mayat tersebut bukan Soo Yeon, putrinya yang sedang diculik. Adegan kemudian berganti ke momen menegangkan Jang Deuk Cheon menerobos kaca untuk mengejar Sung Hoon. Sayangnya, pria yang memiliki wajah sama dengan Sung Joon tersebut berhasil lolos.

Masih tak menyerah, Jang Deuk Cheon memaksa Sung Joon untuk memberikan nomor ponsel Sung Hoon yang disebut sebagai kakak kembarnya. Sung Joon terus mengelak dengan mengatakan ia bahkan tak mengetahui namanya sendiri. Ia juga mengatakan baru tahu kalau memiliki saudara kembar. Jang Deuk Cheon menodongkan pistol ke kepala Sung Joon, siap menembaknya. Untung saja ada Lee Hyung Sik (Yoon Kyung Ho) dan Na Soo Ho (Choi Woong) yang datang untuk mencegah.



Sung Joon di bawa ke kantor polisi oleh Jang Deuk Cheon yang terus memaksanya untuk mengaku. Ia tetap bersukukuh tak mengingat apapun. Ia hanya ingat ada seseorang yang memberinya tiket bus serta kertas bertuliskan nama Jang Deuk Cheon. Saat mengeluarkan kertas tersebut, jepit rambut milik Soo Yeon ikut terjatuh dari saku jaketnya. Ia menyadari dan memasukkannya kembali. Lelah terus dipaksa mengaku, Sung Joon menjadi hilang kendali dan membuat mobil mengalami kecelakaan. Ia pun kabur. <br>



Sung Joon kabur ke atas gedung, namun berhasil dikejar Jang Deuk Cheon. Ia hampir saja terjun dari atas gedung karena terus dituduh menculik Soo Yeon. Untung saja Jang Deuk Cheon menghalanginya dan mengatakan ia tak boleh mati sampai Soo Yeon ditemukan.


Sesampainya di kantor polisi, Choi Jo Hye datang dengan mengatakan Sung Joon akan ditangani kejaksaan. Mereka mengecek apakah sidik jari, darah dan DNA Sung Joon sama dengan "jejak" yang ditinggalkan si penculik dalam ambulans. Hasilnya, sidik jarinya tak teridentifikasi. Namun darah dan DNA memiliki kecocokan 99,9 persen.

Jang Deuk Cheon bersikeras bahwa Sung Joon memiliki saudara kembar. Ia hampir yakin kalau Sung Joon bukan pelaku sebenarnya dan meminta Choi Jo Hye melakukan tes emosi dan kebohongan. Selama dites, Sung Joon tampak datar saat diperlihatkan foto Soo Yeon. Namun foto darah dan suntikan di TKP membuatnya sedikit bereaksi, disebut wajar oleh sang ahli. Anehnya, ia langsung menjerit histeris saat diperlihatkan dua fotonya yang sama. Samar-samar ia mengingat dirinya terbaring di ranjang dengan wajah Sung Hoon yang semakin mendekat.



Tes brain wave tak berpengaruh pada keputusan Choi Jo Hye. Ia tetap membawa Sung Joon ke tahanan kantor kejaksaan. Jang Deuk Cheon yang belum menyerah berusaha menemui Sung Joon lagi dan membujuknya untuk mengatakan di mana Soo Yeon. Namun jawabannya tetap sama, Sung Joon tak mengingat apapun. Adegan kembali ke awal episode yang menampilkan ditemukannya mayak anak perempuan. Setelah diperiksa ada luka bakar di kaki mayat, Jang Deuk Cheon yang menangis panik akhirnya lega lantaran Soo Yeon tak memiliki luka apapun di kakinya.

Sementara di rumah Sung Hoon, Soo Yeon yang terbaring di ranjang pasien akhirnya bangun dan mencari Jang Deuk Cheon. Sung Hoon mengatakan ia harus tidur lagi. Namun Soo Yeon menolak karena tak mengantuk. Dengan wajah yang datar, Sung Hoon menyuntikkan sesuatu ke infus Soo Yeon dan membuatnya tertidur. Ia kemudian menemui tamunya (pria di stasiun dengan tas golf) dan membahas suatu pekerjaan yang masih misteri.



Esoknya, Jang Deuk Cheon menjalankan rencana untuk membawa Sung Joon kabur dari penjara. Sebelumnya ia memang menemui Sung Joon dan meminta bantuan untuk menemukan Soo Yeon. Jang Deuk Cheon masih ogah mempercayai Sung Joon, tapi di sisi lain, ia yakin melihat Sung Hoon dengan matanya.



Usut punya usut, rencana Jang Deuk Cheon cukup ekstrim. Ia bekerjasama dengan kelompok bandar judi untuk membebaskan bosnya yang dibawa ke penjara bersama Sung Joon. Mereka berniat membuat bus tahanan mengalami kecelakaan. Saat terjadi, Sung Joon berhasil dibawa kabur Jang Deuk Cheon. Namun di tengah perjalanan, mobil yang mereka tumpangi dihadang polisi tepat di jembatan. Episode ditutup oleh Jang Deuk Cheon yang nekat menarik Sung Joon untuk terjun ke sungai.


Episode kedua "Duel" meninggalkan banyak misteri, terutama soal siapa yang merupakan hasil kloning. Sung Hoon yang evil atau justru Sung Joon yang polos? Lantas bagaimana nasib Jang Deuk Cheon dan Sung Joon nanti? Jawabannya tentu saja ada di episode-episode selanjutnya. Bagi yang penasaran, intip dulu cuplikan episode ketiganya ini!
